#1 Hi All. I'm sure this has been spoken about before, but im going through this, and need some advice. I'm from South Africa; a few mates and I have 62's fitted with 3F motors (we don't get the 3FE here unless imported). Now for my question: Without doing a transplant, what can be done to get more power from our vans.

Lexus / Toyota 3F 4.0L The Engine
The 3FE head has a cutout in the top of the intake port to match the fuel injector. While it *may* fit without this cutout the dispersal of the fuelwill be affected. You could probably (carefully) cut this in the 2F head. Use the 3FE head with the injection sytem. Better performance and simpler.

#1 Looking for advice on rebuild 3F. Mine is in FJ73 with over 515000 kms. Still purs but lacks power. I think time to refresh. I want to keep as original and numbers matching car.
